My husband and I have seen the Grand Canyon from the South Rim about 20 years ago. We were so amazed and thought it would be so great to see the Grand Canyon from the bottom, so here we are.

It has certainly surpassed our expectations, it is a completely different experience than seeing the Grand Canyon from the top. I have felt to be, basically, back to the beginning of earth because the bottom of the Grand Canyon is so old, billions of years, and it makes our own life sort of insignificant. When we live our daily lives we always end up in these little problems but when you're out here you realize how unimportant those are and how amazing nature is. You realize how important it is to protect the earth the way it is so generations after us can still enjoy it.

I'm sure I will see these pictures for the rest of my life in my mind and in my memories. Do this tour! Go see the Grand Canyon from the bottom, experience the river, experience the cliffs, the colors, the layers. There is so much to see and take in. You can see it for yourself. I think everyone that comes see it with their own eyes and makes their own connections. Thinking back on what I have seen and other trips and other journeys this has been a unique experience. And certainly the trip of a lifetime.
